Here are a selection of recent paintings, some from a series I call ‘A Visual Eavesdrop’ some from ‘Greek Island off season’  (actively sketching and paint brushing at the mo suggests there’s more to add!)!

Sketching on the seafront of people in their ‘time in between’ the rigours of being or going somewhere. Sketching the near empty ‘Skala Eressos’ just before the crowd rolls into town.

 

My moth eaten back pocket sketchbook and pen take in the composition as it catches my eye. Maybe I like the stark shapes brought into focus by shadows.
